Omiiba Boot Hub
Holding SELECT opens Omiiba Boot Hub first. The classic advanced settings stay available, but the main flow is easier to understand.
Nintendo 3DS custom firmware
Omiiba3DS is an unofficial educational fork of Luma3DS focused on the part you see first: booting, configuring, checking, and launching tools from one readable startup hub.
Built for users who want the reliability of the Luma3DS base with a more guided Omiiba boot experience. Omiiba3DS is not affiliated with or endorsed by LumaTeam.
What makes it different
Omiiba3DS keeps the trusted Luma3DS foundation, then adds a practical layer for day-to-day use: guided setup, launch shortcuts, readable status checks, and profiles for different ways people use their 3DS.
Holding SELECT opens Omiiba Boot Hub first. The classic advanced settings stay available, but the main flow is easier to understand.
A first-run walkthrough for splash behavior, brightness, game patching, external FIRMs/modules, and GodMode9 placement.
Read-only checks show whether important files, folders, payloads, config, EmuNAND, and setup markers are where they should be.
Choose presets for safe booting, performance, modding, plugins, or developer workflows without manually toggling every option.
Launch .firm payloads, check available payloads, view hotkey naming help, and create non-destructive hotkey copies.
Omiiba does not pretend to replace GodMode9. It gives you clean shortcuts and scripts while keeping risky tools in the right app.
Omiiba Boot Hub
The old SELECT configuration screen still exists, but Omiiba Boot Hub now sits in front of it. From there you can boot normally, save changes, launch payloads, run diagnostics, apply profiles, or enter advanced settings when you really need them.
Continue normal boot skips unnecessary config writes when nothing changed, making the hub feel responsive instead of slowing down startup.
Power users still get the familiar advanced options, now grouped behind a clearer entry point.
Release packages include the expected folder layout, payload instructions, release notes, and GodMode9 script guidance.
Menu colors
The visual language follows the boot menu: dark brown panels, warm orange selection accents, cream text, and soft amber glow. The site should feel like Omiiba before the firmware is even downloaded.
Install
Omiiba3DS is installed like a normal boot.firm based custom firmware release. Download the archive, extract it to the root of the SD card, and merge the included folders when prompted.
Omiiba3DS-v1.4.2.zip directly to the SD card root.GodMode9.firm in /omiiba/payloads/ to enable the maintenance shortcuts.Latest release
Version 1.4.2 makes the hub the main SELECT boot screen, keeps Advanced settings available, fixes early screen initialization, clears the Advanced menu correctly, and syncs wizard choices with the matching advanced options.
